Kupu o te Rā

posted 20 Jul 2014, 19:01 by OC Web   [ updated 21 Jul 2014, 13:23 ]
Kia ora all, Ōtaki College is working hard to grow, develop, and promote Te Reo Māori in our college. In order to do so, we have joined many other schools and New Zealanders to learn one word a week for the next year. This incorporates learning a few aspects about the language as well. It also focuses on a kīwaha (idiom or saying) and a whakataukī, whakatauākī (proverbial saying). Be part of this journey as we post a new word each week for you to learn.

If you wish to learn more you can go to the following website: http://kupu.maori.nz/
Kia kaha, kia toa.
