Ōtaki College students, along with parents and whanau, celebrated the success of the 2015 academic year with the annual NCEA Assembly.  There has been a significant rise in achievement in 2015 and it was great to have so many students come forward to gain community recognition that their NCEA certificates and/or courses have been endorsed with Merit or Excellence.  Students also received recognition for achievement in trades related certificates they have achieved throughout 2015.  Guest speaker Tina Sims (MOE) spoke about the importance of students finding their passion working out what they needed to do to pursue that pathway.  Principal Andy Fraser spoke about what success looks like and how to push yourself lift your opportunities for success.
