Congratulations to Logan Bateman who has been studying with U-Skills as part of the College's Secondary Tertiary Programme.  Logan has been selected to attend the YES "Enterprise in Action" event in Auckland in early July.

According to U-Skills Co-ordinator, Lynda Whale, Enterprise in Action is about experiencing business at a fast pace and the meeting of YES students with a passion for enterprise.  There are approximately 3700 students taking part in the YES programme across the country this year. Eighty have been selected to attend Enterprise in Action. Students will be allocated to 10 teams, with each team of 8 students mentored over the weekend by a company host.

The event is run by the Young Enterprise Trust, with the support of sponsors, Massey University and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise. 80 students are selected to participate – 40 from Auckland & 40 from the regions. Over the weekend they will compete in challenges as teams.  The top team gets to go on an international trip where they will get to meet business people and experience their environments.

We wish Logan and his team every success.
